Main character is extremely annoying. Even the smut and Teddy H. couldn’t save this one… just couldn’t finish it.

Ooof…
For the Blood and Ash fans and the ones reading this series in tandem, I mean… ya gotta read it if you’ve come this far, right?!
Some interesting scenes and definitely got the spice in there eventually but… there was just so much MONOLOGUE.
Anyways, it picks up eventually and lots of interesting moments and Easter eggs for those paying attention.
Worth the credit because of course I’m not giving up now!

I had no idea the context of this book when I started but it had great reviews. Wow, super interesting story. Not your usual romance storyline but I loved it! The narrators are fantastic (Troy Duran could read my taxes and still make it sexy). Worth the credit!

Ugh the first book had promise but this second book was just… bad! Not even the smut could save this train wreck of a story. I got about half way through and just couldn’t go on… and I’m not one to waste a credit so I tried! Couldn’t do it. Save yourself a credit, you’re not missing anything. :/
