Christian ranting and condemnation at the same time - admonishing “most” Christians with a broad brush

Loved the overall messages but done with a very condescending tone. Information likely new for many people, but probably not new to most of Salatin’s followers and regular audiences.

Simply the best

I have never before submitted a rating in which I thought the content, performance, and story were each worthy of 5 stars. So this is a first. I should have known that with an opening by Willa Cather, I would be in love. The story is fast-moving and suspenseful, yet incredibly thoughtful and thought-provoking. This is the story of travel in a way that one cannot imagine. There is gold in every scene, every exchange, and every character. Enjoy.

The performances by Julia Whelan make this book spectacular. I love historical fiction and the story woven into the context of history was engaging. If this sort of thing appeals to you, you will enjoy the tale of “The Giver of Stars” particularly as it is interpreted by JW.

Go to the original works to get the info you seek. Byron Katie, Nathaniel Branden, James Clear and others provide more basis and a more coherent message. This is a compilation of short, digestible “truths” which aren’t bad, but ring a little hollow.

She’s exactly who she is. She tells her story in the only way she can. Tomi has a great mind and love for people. You may not agree with her, but you know exactly what she thinks and where she stands. Very refreshing in a world overrun by apology, political correctness, and drama. In particular, the book is a plea to young women find their own voices. Lahren is an advocate for developing confidence through action and hard work. A joy to read.
