You've Done It Again, Leigh and Agliotta!
Revisado: 06-04-15
If you could sum up The Longing in three words, what would they be?
Humbling; Changing; Moving!
What did you like best about this story?
It shows how many people blame others for something, perhaps for years, that never happened, and the tremendous load that person might have carried because of the wrongful blame.
Have you listened to any of Mary Sarah Agliotta’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
All of the Age of Faith series, plus three more and this one was just as outstanding as the others. She does an amazing job!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Loved when Everard's eyes are opened to himself. I must say, I teared up, and then wished I could have written a few parts of the book :-) I also loved when Everard's brother, Abel, arrives on the scene.
Any additional comments?
Every time I come to audible, which is often, I always look for Tamara Leigh. Her books are clean, enjoyable, and I also look to be sure Mary Sarah Agliotta is the narrarator.

Revenge Belongs to God
Revisado: 10-01-14
Where does The Unveiling rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Among the top.
What did you like best about this story?
I like books that are clean, no foul language or sexual content, and believe it or not, this one proves that great books can be written without all of that. I love the twists and turns throughout the book as well as at the end. Kept me guessing the entire time and never saw the outcome. I really enjoyed this book.
What about Mary Sarah Agliotta’s performance did you like?
I really like her accent and the fact that she made each character different, as opposed to just reading the book. It did take me some time to get used to her accent, but once I did, I just couldn't wait to get back to it. I have listened to it more than once and will probably listen to it again. Just got the second book in the series and can't wait to get wrapped up in that one. If it's half as good as the first one, I will be thrilled.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were several, but if I stated them, I might be giving something away and I don't like spoilers.
Any additional comments?
If you like good, clean books, you will love this one. Yes they do say prayers to God in their hearts and minds and look to Him for guidance but there are no sermons, which wouldn't bother me but might some. I think I have found a new author, if her other books are as good as the first one. If you don't like it, you have the option of exchanging it for something else. I assure you, this one will stay in my library. Thank you Tamara Leigh and please keep writing the same type of books.

Different, but good....
Revisado: 09-07-14
Who was your favorite character and why?
Theophilus may have to be my favorite because he was the strongest in his faith throughout the book, and helped Atretes and Rizpah on their journey.
If you could take any character from As Sure as the Dawn out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Atretes. Reminds me of Maximus in The Gladiator. I'd probably have to chastise him for some things he did in the book, lol.
Any additional comments?
If you expect this one to be as good as the first two, you will be greatly disappointed. Just put it in a class of it's own, apart from the other two. Atretes is angry and rough throughout most of the book. Rizpah is suggested, perhaps, as having the same qualities as Hadassah, but she misses the mark a bit for me. There were a couple of scenes that really disappointed me, a few miracles that made me say, "What?" and then an action or two of Atretes toward Rizpah that I didn't like. I probably wouldn't have rated this book like I did had it not been for the fact that it was the finale in the series, and it was just lacking. I would have stopped it with the second book, but there were too many loose threads to be tied as far as Atretes was concerned.

Best of the series by far!!!
Revisado: 09-07-14
What did you love best about An Echo in the Darkness?
It brings the story of Hadassah's journey and faith to a complete circle and shows how much impact one meek, loving, Christian slave girl had on a very influential, wealthy, prideful and immoral family.
What did you like best about this story?
The powerful journey an angry Marcus took to find the God of Hadassah and upon his return, his increasing interest in 'the healer' who has attached herself to his sick sister, Julia. My heart breaks for Alexander, the doctor, whom 'the healer' helps.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Get the tissues because you should cry, as well as laugh, during this book. By far, the one I like the best. I have listened to this book and series several times.

Revisado: 09-07-14
What did you love best about A Voice in the Wind?
I love the selfless spirit that Hadassah still has after all she has been through and the things she is continually put through by some members of the Valerian family and their friends. I am reminded each day of the example she was for others who saw the light that shone through her. I love the courage and love she shows throughout the entire book.
What other book might you compare A Voice in the Wind to and why?
I can only compare it to the book of Esther in the Bible.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There are some parts of this book that made me cringe and lay it aside at times. But after thinking about how immoral Roman citizens were, I picked it back up and finished listening to it and have listened to it many, many times since then. I did cry, as I think most who read, or listened to this book will do. There is no foul language in this book, nor in this series that I recall.
Any additional comments?
Upon finishing this book, I put it down declaring I wouldn't go through the rest of the series as I didn't think my emotions or heart could handle it. Don't make that mistake. Get them all, and go through them one after the other.

Grab This Tiger's Tale!
Revisado: 03-13-14
What made the experience of listening to Tiger's Quest the most enjoyable?
The narrarator. (Previously, I thought there were two different people, but, no, Ms. Boras is magnificent and did it all!)
What did you like best about this story?
The love between Ren and Kelsey, and then when he is captured and they get him back the drama that ensues! A must read to find out.
Which character – as performed by Annika Boras – was your favorite?
Ren - I could listen to him talk all day. I could tell the difference between him and his brother even though there wasn't a great big difference. She did an amazing job! Fell in love with Ren, just by hearing him speak through Annika!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Tiger's Quest - Bring Me To Life
Any additional comments?
This book, this entire series is wonderfully done, clean, no foul language which makes it age appropriate. If you have read Tiger's Curse then you will undoubtedly know why I say I stay furious with Kishan most of the time. I get angry with Kelsey, too. But I also get upset with Ren and you will too! But, it's worth it --- in the end.

Move Over Meyer, Houck's Curse is Amazing!
Revisado: 02-27-14
What made the experience of listening to Tiger's Curse the most enjoyable?
The two different narrarator's made the book come alive! Sanjiv's accent added so much to this book. I loved hearing his voice - wow!
What other book might you compare Tiger's Curse to and why?
I've heard that this series is just as good or better than the Twilight Saga and so far I have not been disappointed. What a movie this would make! Just let me help with the casting, lol.
What about Annika Boras and Sanjiv Jahveri ’s performance did you like?
Annika read it as one would expect a 17 -18 year old girl would sound and placed just the right emphasis on emotions when called for. Sanjiv made the prince come alive with a voice that made you see him as the jaw droppingly handsome and charming guy you envision while listening. There's just something about a voice!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely!
Any additional comments?

Revisado: 07-09-12
If you have ever listened to or read one of Dekker's books, you must check this one out! From the beginning to the end it had my full attention. You always have to be ready for that twist in his books and this one delivered just as expected. If you are a Dekker fan, you will not be disappointed. It might get a bit imaginative at the end, but which one of his books doesn't. I've listened to it several times. Kevin King does a masterful job narrating as well. Delivers a five star rating on all counts in my book!

Serial-ously?
Revisado: 07-09-12
Wow, if you ever believed in the phrase "An eye for an eye" then you might enjoy this one. While his paybacks might not be because of what someone did to him, he doe indeed pay them back for what they did to others. He makes sure of the 'errors of their ways' and then deals out his own form of justice. He's not your every day serial killer. Had to rate this one less than a five because of the language of a couple of characters. Nick Landrum does a wonderful job narrating, too. I would really love to hear more of Dexter, just without the foul language. Would be just as good without that.
