I only made it to chapter 10 before I had enough. She’s his housekeeper and rebuffs him at every turn but he keeps at her. All he cares about is his ‘pleasure’. Jerk’s off in bed next to her, bc he’s so ‘needy’ gross. He’s grooming her! No means no!

Some stories deserve to have more than one book. This is not one of them. Weak story, ‘tortured’ 17-18 year old kids. Finished the 1st. Barely. Won’t be ordering the next. Not sure how this got such high reviews but oh well.

I wasted 10 hours of my life on this book

Not a romance AT ALL. Two sisters who ‘love’ the same guy, have a blow up and forgives each other. How this book has 4.5 stars is beyond me!
I do have to say though, there was a previous review I saw about the accents being bad and I do have to disagree. I think the narrator did a good job but the story was terrible!

What disappointed you about Under Locke?
It was too slow. I liked and hated the narrator at the same time. I like her voice and would love it if the Kermit the Frog sound would stay out of her throat, if that makes any sense.
Would you be willing to try another one of Callie Dalton’s performances?
No, I found myself focused more on how I hated parts of her voice and less on the actual story.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
