This was an enjoyable listen with plenty of romance, suspense and witty exchange! A fun delve into the world of horse shows as Pepper strives to show her horse, find a killer and not become a victim herself. She's a multi-tasker for sure! The narrator has a warm, engaging tone that made this a pleasure to listen to.

This was a truly enjoyable story with great narration. The story follows Esme during her freshman year at college as well as present day. Esme is incredibly likeable and I found myself completely engrossed in the story. The author has a gift for writing about the human experience which kept me engaged until the last page. I loved it!

I read the first book in this series and found the characters charming and enjoyable, so I was excited to listen to the next book. In this book, Andi is invited to be the limo driver for a wedding where things quickly turn into a crime scene. Andi, as usual, is determined to get to the bottom of things even though it puts her in harms way. Lorena McCourtney is a wonderful storyteller and managed to surprise me with the ending. The narrator does a nice job capturing the individual personalities of the characters. On a separate note, I am hoping to read about a wedding between Fitz and Andi somewhere down the road!

What a pleasant surprise! I had never listened to a Christian cozy mystery before and wasn't sure what to expect. The book follows Andi, a woman going through several transitions between losing her job, her boyfriend dumping her and planning to move away. Things soon become complicated when a body is found in the back of her newly inherited limousine! The narrator does an excellent job developing the voices for the characters and creating a pleasant listening experience. Looking forward to reading more from this author and this series.

I am new to listening to audiobooks and this was a treat! As a lover of horses and cozy mysteries, I was in my element. I quickly became engrossed in Pepper Kane's adventures as she strives to discover who could be responsible for the death of a famous stallion. This was such a fun escape into the land of horse shows and beyond! I am hoping this is the first of many Pepper Kane mysteries!
