Historia
How do we love in a time of rage? How do we fix a broken world while not breaking ourselves? Valarie Kaur - renowned Sikh activist, filmmaker, and civil rights lawyer - describes revolutionary love as the call of our time, a radical, joyful practice that extends in three directions: to others, to our opponents, and to ourselves. It enjoins us to see no stranger but instead look at others and say: You are part of me I do not yet know. Starting from that place of wonder, the world begins to change.

This outstanding audible book changed my life
Revisado: 08-31-20
Valerie Kaur grew up within miles of me and oh how I wish I knew her now. I’m so ashamed of the many times I looked away not understanding and I can only wonder the many opportunities of kindest I failed to receive and see from the members of our Sikh community.
Valerie’s writing kept me at the edge of my seat. I was in awe and at times frightened for her and yet at the end felt like she understands me, me and all my wounds that need attention. She shares her most vulnerable self so that we may learn through her story how to see and to love others. I am so envious of the rich legacy her ancestors have nurtured in her through her faith. As a white country girl growing up in Central California as a Christian, my faith seems so shallow now in comparison to a Sikh. Valerie’s book makes me want to learn more of what my faith teaches so I may live a deeper legacy with my family and friends. I want to believe with all my heart, today going forward, because I listened to Valarie Kaur’s book, I see no strangers. Thank you Valarie. Valarie’s Kaur’s audible version “See no Stranger” is outstanding.
