Historia
What’s worse than death? How about meeting your end on the high seas, marooned, while sharks swim hungrily by? Or being trapped in a toppled ship in the middle of a bustling city? Set sail with Charlotte and Patrick as these landlubbers delve into the depths of history to find the weirdest, scariest and just plain stupidest marine disasters in history. Bring them back!
Revisado: 06-30-23
Since this show ended, the Titan imploded on a voyage to the Titanic, the HMS Triumph, a British WWII submarine, has been found. The Andrianna, a ship carrying migrants sank (June 14, 2023) just to name a few more recent maritime uh-ohs and whoopsies on the high seas.
While there were some episodes that had some flaws, overall, I loved this show and looked forward to Wednesdays when a new episode was released. I loved that Charlotte and Patrick (and Brian) knew when to make things light hearted and I loved the jokes and the jabs they would make. Shipwrecks can be utterly devastating, but sometimes, that added levity can really add to what is being presented. Charlotte and Patrick were also respectful to those who lost their lives, providing a perfect balance of humor in tragedy while presenting the facts. Their writers and researchers did a fantastic job.
Rooster Teeth, your timing was bad and you should feel bad.
This was a phenomenal and very enjoyable and informative podcast. I have recommended it to so many people and have found myself quoting it in numerous circumstances (it really is amazing how often shipwrecks come up). Bring back Ship Hits the Fan with all the hosts, including Brian.

Historia
Logen Ninefingers, infamous barbarian, has finally run out of luck. Caught in one feud too many, he's on the verge of becoming a dead barbarian - leaving nothing behind him but bad songs, dead friends, and a lot of happy enemies. Nobleman, dashing officer, and paragon of selfishness, Captain Jezal dan Luthar has nothing more dangerous in mind than fleecing his friends at cards and dreaming of glory in the fencing circle. But war is brewing, and on the battlefields of the frozen North they fight by altogether bloodier rules.

Joe Abercrombie is one of my favorite authors! the narrator does a phenomenal job bringing the characters to life as well.
