The book spends more time talking about wine tasting than it does about wine making. Then it gives only a perfunctory walk through of the wine making process itself. I know this book is for novices, but it fails to progress past that — there is little reason more time couldn’t be spent giving depth beyond what is here. For example, they don’t even talk about making white wines.
