Good - too much focus on art information
Revisado: 10-05-21
The story was excellent except it definitely dragged out, especially toward the end. I love the history and details, yet sometimes it seems it was a need to show off the intelligence of the writer rather than actually add to the story.

Very wordy
Revisado: 04-11-21
Felt like the author was trying to fill pages with needless words. The story was good from start to finish, but would have been Much better without the continuing to repeat feelings and fears and even going so far as to repeat events in entirety.

A great listen!
Revisado: 09-09-18
A great storyline, an interesting cast of characters and a wonderful narrator. The attention to detail with each area on Earth that is visited or referenced was wonderful and necessary to wrap such a wonderful tale together. Well done!

Colleen Bradley is married with a teenage son, a modest business repurposing and reselling antiques, and longtime fear that she was not her husband's first choice. Her one-woman mission for peace of mind is thrown slightly off course when 16-year-old Tamara becomes her co-pilot.

Great story and narrator!
Revisado: 04-07-18
This was a good story line with interesting twists that smoothly let you into the back stories of each character. It has a complete beginning and end, with no loose ends leaving you wondering. Add to that the narrator. She was fabulous going from one character to the other and nailing the voice I would have heard in my head had I been reading it.

Dawn Conners’s parents are famous for finding historic treasures, but she has a knack for losing things - her job, her boyfriend, and now, her reputation. Thanks to a mud-slinging exposé, Dawn’s late great-grandfather is assumed guilty of stealing silver from a century-old shipwreck. Hoping to clear his name, Dawn returns to Starlight Cove, her idyllic hometown on Lake Michigan, where the doomed vessel sleeps beneath the beam of a ramshackle lighthouse.

Mixed review
Revisado: 03-12-18
The story of The Lighthouse Keeper was good. It kept me wanting to listen non-stop. Which, unfortunately, wasn't always easy because the narration was more electronic than genuine. The only time the narrator didn't sound like a computer voice was when there was needed emotion or voice change for male characters. Very strange and took a lot a way from the enjoyment I get from listening to narrated books.
