Historia
Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

So relatable
Revisado: 09-20-23
My kids grew up watching the Duggars and I often envied the grace and patience of Michelle Duggar as I struggled to find my peace raising 4 kids. I too have been through a spiritual journey that allowed me to find my voice and shed some teachings that weren’t ultimately the truth. And I too was forced to be around my sexual abuser for 7 years after my abuse because my nature was to make sure everyone else was fine. Becoming a mother myself made me realize that I needed help so that I didn’t ruin my kids with my trauma induced fear. I can’t imagine adding to my journey the TV aspect and I applaud you Jill and Derick for finding your voice and listening to the right voice within you even though it was scary and hard! May God continue to guide you and May He make things easy and remove all hardships Ameen!

My favorite book of 2018
Revisado: 08-28-18
This was the Mia Sheridan I fell in love with when I first read Archers Voice! I knew from the prologue that this story was going to captivate me! I loved everything about it! The narrators, the plot, the love story, the heartache and the mystery! The characters had such depth and honesty! I couldn’t get enough of them all! I highly recommend this as an audible purchase, you will not regret it!!

Historia
Graham Russell and I weren't made for one another. I was driven by emotion; he was apathetic. I dreamed while he lived in nightmares. I cried when he had no tears to shed. Despite his frozen heart and my readiness to run, we sometimes shared seconds. Seconds when our eyes locked and we saw each other's secrets. Seconds when his lips tasted my fears and I breathed in his pains. Seconds when we both imagined what it would be like to love one another.

So, so good!
Revisado: 03-02-18
I love this book! I read it first last year when it first came out and it was my favorite read of 2017! So I listened to it this time around and enjoyed every minute of it! The narrators did an amazing job bringing Lucille and Graham to life! I laughed, I cried, I got mad, I got happy! So many feels. Brittainy Cherry can write! This is a love story, emphasis on story! If you are wanting hot sex, there is minimal amounts of that. But to be honest, the story made up for it! I didn’t miss it and I still felt like the chemistry between Graham and Lucy was palpable and real! READ or LISTEN TO THIS BOOK! You won’t regret it!

Oh Oren...{{{sigh}}}
Revisado: 02-07-18
I am not sure what I was expecting from this story. I am a huge fan of the Infidelity series and I think maybe I was expecting a little more insight into that world. This story was strictly about Oren, he is Nox’s Dad, and how he navigated being apart of his wife’s “family”. I enjoyed meeting Nox’s Mom since we didn’t really get much info on her in the series. I enjoyed learning more about Sylvia’s role with the Demetri’s. Oren didn’t earn any points in my eyes in this story. It does make me want to re-listen to the Infidelity series, I miss Nox and Charlie!!

This book deserves 10 Stars!!!
Revisado: 01-24-18
Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! This book is one of the best books I have ever read!! I just finished minutes ago and I am still reeling! I don’t even know where to start or how to tell you how great this book was! I guess I can start with the imagery!!! My words will not do justice to the beauty that Leylah Attar’s words expressed in this story. I FELT like I was IN Africa, meeting Jack, feeling his pain, his anger, his loss! I felt like I WAS Mo, seeing everything through her eyes! I highlighted so much in this book because the words were beautiful! SO WELL WRITTEN! The chemistry between Jack and Mo was palpable, but the love between them grew organically!! It wasn’t insta love, it was real love.
The events that took place to bring Jack and Mo together were believable and so realistic and the events that took place to keep them together were harrowing, dangerous, exciting, and had me on the edge of my seat. Goma, Bahati, and Scholastica were great characters and added so much depth to this story.
The narration was spot on!! Several times on my way to and from work I was laughing out loud but also crying!
I can’t say enough about this book! You won’t be disappointed! This was my first book by Leylah Attar and now I will be going to search for her other books to read more!

Historia
Taylor Harden is a man on the edge. The edge of fame. The edge of untold wealth. The edge of utter humiliation. He built an unhackable system, and in front of everyone, it gets hacked. His reputation goes from king to goat in a split second. Boom. Like that. Some dude in Barrington, USA (AKA Nowhere) has locked down Taylor's code, and if he does not get it back, he is going to be wearing a monkey suit for the rest of his life. Except, this guy? This hacker from Nowhere? He is not a guy.

Not my thing?
Revisado: 09-28-17
I don’t know what it was about this book but I didn’t like anything about it. There was absolutely no chemistry between the characters and the main premise seemed far fetched. I found myself literally rolling my eyes whenever they started getting intimate. If I hadn’t paid for this audible I probably would have stopped listening around chapter 5. Christopher Fox usually does it for me, but even he couldn’t salvage the story. Maybe hacking and code and abandoned, sad towns aren’t my kink?
