Great sequel

I read the first book in this series and was eager for this one. I was not disappointed.
Great storyline and a great narrator to read it. I hope the third comes out soon!

Great for kids, not for adults

If you are looking for a story about the 1990 Carmen Sandiego, this is not one. I had thought that this would be a remake on that series but instead found a different but still great story. I am SO glad that our “lady in the red fedora” did not become dark as so many remake characters have become. She is still a good guy, though far from saintly. I don’t want to say more because I don’t want to ruin this story. Buy this book and listen for yourself. Personally, I am hoping that the author will continue working on this series. I can’t wait until the next one!

Great Listen

The story was well written and the characters were lifelike. You got to see inside their heads and see why they make the decisions that they make. The narrator only amplified these characters. If I could give this book a higher rating, I would do so happily.

Great Story!

The narrator really made you feel like you were right there with the characters. He altered his voice for individual characters in a way that made following the story almost seamlessly. The story itself is the high quality that I have come to expect from this author. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves military sci-fi.

Good book but needs some extra editing

Overall this was a good book. It took a little longer to “hook” me than most of the books that I typically listen to/read. The main reason I gave it only 4 stars is that there are a LOT of “Chapter 1s” and “2s”. The story progresses as a normal book, but the chapter beginnings are not a smooth as most books. Otherwise this is a good book and I would strongly recommend it to those that like Sci/Fi military novels.
