By far the best 'self-help'/business book I've ever read just because it's not fluffy philosophies, but specific directions. That's why I suggest getting in print because he gives you a bunch of websites and other resources. Works with whispersync if you want both.

Like Listening to a Stand-up Routine- Hilarious!
Revisado: 02-18-13
I read this book first and then listened to it when it became available on Audible. I can't even tell you how much better the narrator, who is also the author, reads this book than I did in my head. I was down right crying at a few points just from all the different voices the author uses, not to mention analogies like this, "Other than the McRib coming in and out like a negligent father, the McDonald's menu doesn't change."

Historia
In his bravest and most challenging book yet, Seth Godin shows how we can thrive in an economy that rewards art, not compliance. He explains why true innovators focus on trust, remarkability, leadership, and stories that spread. And he makes a passionate argument for why you should be treating your work as art. Art is not a gene or a specific talent. It's an attitude, available to anyone who has a vision that others don't, and the guts to do something about it.

Every Parent Should Listen
Revisado: 02-01-13
Seth always keeps it real and The Icarus Deception is no exception. I love how he has changed the whole 'entrepreneurial mentality' into an artist mentality and gave plenty of advice for people who don't just want to be a cubicle inhabitor. I particularly liked the section where he gives advice to friends and family of people who have, what some may call 'wild cards' in their lives. That's the part that's especially good for parents.

Revisado: 10-10-12
This book was a pleasant surprise with all the other tidbits of information you learn that surrounds running. Everything from the origination of running shoes to the fact that ultra running is a very rare sport where men do not have an advantage over women. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to look up pictures of the real people who make up the characters of this incredible story.

Inspiring
Revisado: 09-10-12
If you could sum up A Million Miles in a Thousand Years in three words, what would they be?
This book definitely inspired me to 'live a better story' by making me be conscious of the story I'm writing everyday in life.
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Million Miles in a Thousand Years?
The lawyer that taught his kids that you can do anything- even meet with world leaders if you so choose.
What does Donald Miller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
It's always great to hear how the author intended the words to be heard.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There is one super sad part at the end when he's reading a letter from his friend about his wife passing away from cancer.
