The performance of the reader was excellent! Interesting characters. I especially liked the Vagaari.

Overall solid story. I love Thrawn as always! I would have liked more time developing the Vagaari and learning more about them. I found them very interesting. I personally would have taken Obi Wan and Anakin out of the story and used that time to further develop and explore the Vagaari. I don't feel like Obi Wan and Anakin had any significant impact or were needed at all for that matter, but maybe Zaine felt that familiar characters from the movies would enhance his story, but I disagree. It was a distraction. However, That's my only gripe with this book. The rest of it was great!

Karpyshyn did a great job with developing these characters, and expanding the mass effect universe. Any fan of Mass Effect or Karpyshyn should definitely read this book as well as Revelation and ascension!
