Having a life long passion with Egyptology and the country of which I have longed to see, has been vividly brought forth by Elizabeth Peters again.
I first read this series in 1987, and have read hundreds of books in my life. Usually, not one to read a series more than once, these adventures have compelled me to read them many times. The audiobook series has also kept me coming back again and again. Fantastic for road trips or a rainy day, it’s one that one or any family can enjoy together.
I especially love this installment, the change of scenery and twists of intrigue, will keep the reader enthralled and entertained.
This series is very unique. It reads somewhat as a cozy mystery, yet better. Its replete with whipped cream and the sprinkles of a civilization long revered.

Fantastic ending to a great series

I have read all of the books in the series in print, but really enjoyed the flawless narration of this grand finale. Even though I'm sad to see the sookieverse come to a close it was enjoyable. I'm looking forward to Charlaine's new offerings!
