Historia
I thought I’d left my past behind for good. But when my older brother gets killed in a car accident, I’ve got to come back to take over his car-tuning business. But things are not like I remember. There’s something weird going on in Santo Domingo, something that seems connected to the city’s underground street racing scene. There’s the orange-haired mechanic at the tuning shop with the FOXGRRL license plate. There’s the strange black cat hanging around my house, and the dreams I’ve been having about a racer girl with cat ears and a tail.

This series has an excellent story that really draws you in and leaves you wanting more. This isn't just spice with some narration in between scenes like many others in the category it was an excellent series that also had spicy bits.

Engaging and enthralling
Revisado: 06-26-24
This one caught me a bit off guard with how much I enjoyed it. I hadn't ever heard of it but gave it a shot with the listening time to credit I figured if it was decent it would be worth it. I am very glad I did now and am eagerly hoping for the series to continue. If you enjoy the genre you should be happy with your purchase. The over-arching story is interesting and leaves you wanting to know what comes next and the nature of what the characters have to do makes each book a contained story on its own. The interaction between the characters is good if not the greatest there is growth for most if not all of them as they experience more and more. Overall while not the best I've ever read it kept me interested and wanting to listen for over 80 hours and anticipating the next book eagerly so I say it is definitely worth the credit.

Historia
The Great Crusade has swept across half the galaxy, a million human worlds now embracing the truth and reason that comes with allegiance to the rule of Terra. But even such unparalleled success comes at a cost. Rumours abound that the Emperor plans to step back from the Crusade and raise one of his primarch sons to lead in his stead. Faced with the bitterly noncompliant human empire of Gardinaal and a leaderless host of Ultramarines, Thousand Sons and Emperor’s Children at his Legion’s command, the Iron Hands primarch Ferrus Manus decides to make an example that even the Emperor cannot ignore.

Excellent Story
Revisado: 12-11-23
The story was great but it didn't follow the same vein as the other Primarch series books I have read so far. They all have made me like the Primarch and Legion they featured more or at least increased my interest but this one lowered my opinion of both Ferrus and his legion and I can't honestly say I had a high opinion of them before this story. They have ridiculously high opinion of themselves yet get owned constantly by everything they fight. It doesn't really hurt the story line but it also didn't make me wish Ferrus was still alive either. Makes perfect sense what happened to him after hearing the way they act and what happens with them in this book.

Historia
Michael has taken the Game by the throat. No longer content to lurk in the shadows, he has started down a path that will inevitably bring him into conflict with the Powers. But the Powers are no easy foes. Nor are they Michael’s only adversaries. Other enemies stir. Some confront him openly, while others watch patiently from the sidelines. A lone wolf no more, and with many of his own pieces in play, Michael may find himself more exposed than he believes. The stakes are high. And the schemes of the players convoluted.

Boring moron chasing his tail for hours without a point
Revisado: 11-28-23
Contains minor spoilers!!
I have a high tolerance for what many people claim are dumb MCs but this one takes the cake, stuffs it full of dynamite, throws it off a cliff, and let it explode. Oh I have to travel across this zone and can't be caught by the giant flying monster over a hundred levels higher than me so I have to kill the things he is trying to protect as I encounter them in a line directly to where I am going. Man how did they possibly find me and ambush me? Hey there is a building full of enemies that are a higher level than me and can cast wards too high a tier for me to detect so I better wear a disguise and go straight in there with zero plan to escape or hide. It is like he purposely makes the most absolutely moronic decision possible in every situation and then somehow BS's his way out against enemies that are way stronger and smarter than him. Completely unbelievable and ruins immersion constantly. This series had promise and some interesting ideas but this book abandons the main storyline accomplishes basically nothing (so far I only made it 2/3 through) and is a terrible story on top of that. HARD Pass on this one.
