Historia
Colonel Andrew Keane and his blue-coated soldiers were not the first humans time-space-warped to a world so familiar yet so foreign. Humans abounded on the perverse planet-humans treated like cattle by the alien warrior overlords. Keane's Civil War weaponry defeated the swords, spears and crossbows of his monstrous adversaries.

An excellent blend of history and fantasy
Revisado: 02-25-25
My favorite aspect of the book was the realistic depiction of the dynamics and methodology of a 19th century American Union regiment and their interactions with the Russian medieval peasantry.

Phenomenal Addition to the WWZ Franchise
Revisado: 12-08-22
The voice cast was expertly chosen and greatly added to the overall immersion. Max Brooks’ writing holds up better and better as the years go by. Given how the world has gone recently, I 100% believe this story isn’t too far off to how the world would handle the Solanum Virus IRL. Overall, this is another great work by Max Brooks that will stand the test of time.
