unapologetic about slavery

The book has some good pointers but I was appalled to hear the author using the analogy of controlling feelings with the "skills" a slave owner would need to control human slaves. I had to listen to this part twice as I was in disbelief this was written in the 70s.

This book was very informative and it had practical suggestions. However, the details about cruel experiments done to animals in psychological research was painful to listen to. The book could have been much better without citing these unnecessary and inhumane practices.
