Not only will you carry his stories with you, you’ll have a wonderful blueprint to reflect on your own life in such a way that you might find your self wanting to share your own blunderful adventures. This writer of characters proves to be incredibly worthy of being written.

Don’t judge a book by its author’s hilarious TiKTok account. This book feels like it was written by a wish dot com AI beta program. The narration is so painfully awful and riddled with errors it feels like Scott trolled his way into doing it himself. The whiny, nasally, Judy Bloom character’s annoying little sister way that the narrator reads the female characters’ parts is ridiculous. Calvin sounds like he sends authors hate emails whenever he sits down to pee. He’s written like a 3rd grade boy that’s been held back a couple dozen times.

I really wanted to enjoyed this. I counted down the weeks until the release. I’m going to add the title of this book to the list of reasons why I think I’m colorblind because if that isn’t a foreshadowing red flag….

My IQ is in the trenches and my credit score plummeted while listening to this absolute dumpster fire of a story. Sweet mother of ridiculousness this book reads like it was written by wish dot com AI in a bag of rice. Let’s definitely not do that again.

DeMille spend most of his word count recapping John Corey’s work and romantic history leaving this book with little to no substance. Left feeling like I accepted an invite to Thanksgiving only to find out that the host is a vegan and is serving a joyless menu for the most important dinner of the year. Bleh.
