What made the experience of listening to Myths, Lies, and Half-Truths of Language Usage the most enjoyable?
Very interesting for anyone interested in language and history. Mostly discussed from an American point of view with many Americanisms which are not an issue in other parts of the world where English is spoken as a first language. Many grammatical issues are problems for Americans only, not for the rest of us.

Disappointing

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
A good technical review of Scripture but believers will be disappointed. There is no spark of faith, no reference to God's leading His people from the beginning, no reference to the many lessons recorded for man through the stories in this text. To be told practically in the second paragraph that it is mostly myth and folktales shows no insight into the great themes that can be followed.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Perhaps I am unable to relate to this author's life. This book doesn't even seem to have any positive emotions, maybe I missed it.

A very good case for prohibiting some people from being dog-owners. Captures the essence of the bond between dog and owner beautifully.
