Historia
When Dr. Will Cooke, an idealistic young physician just out of medical training, set up practice in the small rural community of Austin, Indiana, he had no idea that much of the town was being torn apart by poverty, addiction, and life-threatening illnesses. But he soon found himself at the crossroads of two unprecedented health-care disasters: a national opioid epidemic and the worst drug-fueled HIV outbreak ever seen in rural America. Confronted with Austin’s hidden secrets, Dr. Cooke decided he had to do something about them.

Historia
The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it’s kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine’s aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born.

Destined to become a classic of adventure literature, The Last Season examines the extraordinary life of legendary backcountry ranger Randy Morgenson and his mysterious disappearance in California's unforgiving Sierra Nevada - mountains as perilous as they are beautiful. Eric Blehm's masterful work is a gripping detective story interwoven with the riveting biography of a complicated, original, and wholly fascinating man.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
Revisado: 06-08-17
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Don't be fooled by the cover. This book has to be one of the most boring books I have ever had the opportunity explore!
Would you ever listen to anything by Eric Blehm again?
I would never subject myself or others to another Eric Blehm if his writings are as boring and weighted down with information that doesn't add to the story and the overall pleasure of reading.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
Narration was fine, no complaints.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
NONE!
