Historia
Every bartender should follow one simple rule—don't go home with the customers. That’s been easy for me to stick to, until the night a cocky, confident, and sinfully charming hockey star walks into my bar. This sexy athlete is too hard to resist, especially when he makes it clear how much he wants the “sarcastic, witty, hot AF” guy behind the bar—also known as me.

A Guy Walks into My Bar

Oh man... I'm both so happy and so fcking sad that I just finished this book!
Lots of firsts for me here. And all deserving 5 starts and more cause man, did I just had a great time with this book or what!
Lauren Blakely is a first time author for me and she's definitely killed it with Dean and Fitz story. It's beyond perfect. Beyond fun. Beyond sexy and hot AF. I couldn't get enough of them. This book went directly to my all time favorite folder on my Kindle even before I finished it.
There's not a sentence, a word even, I would skim over. No way, this was adorably fun and hella sexy at every turn. Such passion for each other, makes my mouth water...
Another thing which is a first for me? Full cast narration. And it was, again, perfection.
Most I got before was two guys narrating the same book but it wasn't like this. Usually they'd alternate reading chapters and for each chapter one reads, he reads both main characters in that chapter (cannot explain this any better, English is not my first language, bear with me 😆) I never quite liked it that way. Having two different voices with sometimes two very different energies reading both main characters alternatively... it just makes the essence of the characters confusing, not giving them their own separate personality, their own space to be...
Not this narration though. Here we have one narrator for Dean and one for Fitz. And they each read they own character's conversations, thoughts, etc. even changing slightly the book's lines to make the narration more fluid, seamless...
I don't think I ever want to listen to an audiobook any other way now.
Also, Shaw and Joe are flawless (full cast was, really) I heard they were the voices in the author's mind while writing this book. Not even surprised. They are both in my mind too now. I'll probably read any other book with any other two characters and have their voices in my mind cause, yay! Fun and sultry, sexy perfection!
All in all this was an amazing ride. Fcking awesomeness happening on every page.
Hopefully Shaw and Joe will narrate more MM now (I'm on a MM only phase cause, you know, yummy!) and I'll be waiting ^^
Until then, they'll be the voices in my head, narrating my everyday life, Morgan Freeman style 🤣
Cause why not. Also delicious, sexy fun, yea? Can't have enough of that 🤪

Great story, love LA Witt work ^^
Loved all Charlie David narrations so far, this one as well.
The music before/after chapters though? Most annoying thing ever.
Couldn't finish the audiobook. Read the actual book, blessed silence there...

I had read this book before (well this and the next one, Full Circle, the complete, amazingly sweet though dark and hard, beautiful story) Several times as a matter of fact, top 3 of my M/M/M list. No question.
So I was ecstatic to see the audible version available for it. And I was right to be.
Best. Thing. Ever. ♡o。.(✿ฺ。 ✿ฺ)
Jack DuPont does such an amazing job of this already awesome story. His voice is better than hot melted chocolate mixed with salted caramel. It's fcking perfect is what it is. Liquid, rough, sexy...
I can't wait for his Full Circle version.
Meanwhile I'll listen to this one again.
And again.
And again.
PS. Mateo's hispanic accent must be one of the hottest thing I've ever heard. And let me tell you something. I'm from Spain, hispanic accents just don't do it for me.
Until Jack O(≧∇≦)O
