Historia
Horse trainer Naomi McDonald impulsively buys a "shy" Border Collie pup named Luke, and she believes it's fate. However, puppy Luke shows no signs of herding instinct, and a trainer tells her to put him down. When Naomi has a vision of a past life, she realizes her journey with Luke involves more than meets the eye, more than she ever imagined. With the help of a medicine woman, Naomi learns that Luke is her teacher, not only for herding competitions but also for a spiritual journey that would take her into the world of shamanic healing, animal communication, and spiritual beings.

Love between owner and dog.

Emotional and inspiring
Revisado: 10-10-20
I loved the raw emotion between animal and human. The bond between Naomi and Luke is a perfect example of the love we all look for and the companionship created through that love and mutual respect. I learned that before we are born we choose what we will do with our lives and our archetypes help us create our dreams. I was inspired by the commitment of Naomi and her goals to become a shepherd. She was awe struck by the majestical dogs and even though it took many trials and errors, a stubborn and rude judge, and many years; she never got discouraged or gave up. Not to mention the true love between her husband and her gives me happiness in my own marriage.
This book is full of emotion and has a dash of humor. The narrator portrays the emotion and differentiates the characters as if they were voiced by different people.
Absolutely worth a listen.
