Somehow the author has managed to make this horrible piece of history both riveting, engaging and informative.

That's one long advertisement...
Revisado: 02-17-20
I dont know how many times he repeats the name of his company, but it's gotta be in the high hundreds. And between every shout out, comes boatloads of praise of himself and his company. But then again, I guess it's cheaper to make a book than to make an ad for Superbowl.

Historia
The longtime Republican strategist and number one New York Times best-selling author of Everything Trump Touches Dies is back with a guidebook for beating Trump’s tricks, traps, and Twitter feed in 2020. Donald Trump is exactly the disaster we feared for America. Hated by a majority of Americans, Trump’s administration is rocked by daily scandals, and he’s embarrassed us at home and abroad. Trump can’t win in 2020, right? Wrong. As 2016 proved, Trump can’t win, but the Democrats can sure as hell lose.

Take some responsibility
Revisado: 02-17-20
I like what the author is trying to convey here, and I appreciate the insight into the dark world of political smearing.
But I have to say that reading this book, and listening to the author repeat how "it's up to the democrats to stop Trump", and "the democrats need to stop messing up if they want to get rid of Trump" and "the democrats need to stop being so nice, if they want to save US democracy and the world in general" aggravated me to an indescribable degree. When are the NeverTrump Republicans going to take some responsibility for what their party did? The democrats didn't make this monster their nominee. The democrats haven't been standing behind Trump. The democrats haven't supported the ideas that Trump is promoting. The REPUBLICANS have.
I suggest the author takes some time to write a book on what the Republicans can do to unf**k their party and bring back some reason to their side of the aile. Instead of being cowards and blaming this on the democrats like they always do. After all Trump is s child of the current Republican ideas. take some responsibility instead of arrogantly trying to tell the democrats what they did wrong in 2016.

Historia
After standing at Donald Trump’s side on Election Night, Cliff Sims joined him in the West Wing as special assistant to the president and director of White House message strategy. He soon found himself pulled into the president’s inner circle as a confidante, an errand boy, an advisor, a punching bag, and a friend. This is the story of what it was really like in the West Wing as a member of the president’s team. It's a story of power and palace intrigue, backstabbing and bold victories, as well as painful moral compromises, occasionally with yourself.

Garbage
Revisado: 04-09-19
This book is so sloppy. The whole thing is a piece of self-promotion by the author. And the author is a piece of work. He comes off as a smug moron. Bragging about things only he considers achievements. It's scattered with constant praise for the dear leader Kim Jung Trump, while at the same time claiming to be a book by an impartial fly on the wall. It's so politicized that it feels like a parody at times. I returned it, just so I'm sure that I don't financially support this author.

Alright

This book is alright. There are better books on the same subject. The narrator is pretty tiring and keeps mispronouncing words and names. He keeps saying "compromise" instead of "kompromat". These things make it a bit difficult to keep listening. Overall a decent book on it's own, but definitely inferior to other books on the same subject.

Not very good at all
Revisado: 07-05-18
The storyline is painfully cliché, and both the story and the narrator is cheesy beyond description. It reads like a middle aged man's wet dream of right-wingism and mindless action. Weapons models and names with all symbols and letters are painfully articulated ("The Glock 19 45-685WP94A" etc). The plot has no twists or creative variations. Sounds like the writer Googled the names of weapons and facts and copy pasted it into the book. Real hard to get through this book, and definitely not worth the price.
