Friendship to slow burn
Revisado: 06-14-24
I absolutely love this story. I love the fact that it represents a main character with a physical disability and the slow burn relationship. This book could be a standalone however; I want a sequel! *also check for trigger warnings before reading/listening

Historia
Trust is the fuel for all of life. We are wired biologically, neurologically, emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically to trust. Dr. Cloud explores the five foundational aspects of trust that must be present for any relationship to function successfully and helps us to understand how to implement them. He also guides us through the difficult process of repairing trust when it has been violated and broken, even when restoring trust feels impossible.

Informative
Revisado: 05-17-24
This book explains trust the Biblical and Psychology view. Which I enjoyed. It not only informs you but models how to fix trust or how to adjust.

Historia
Holt and Ash saved the kingdom of Feorlen against all odds. Now they are outcasts, alone on an impossible quest to unite the Elder Dragons. But they are children playing in a game of Dragon Lords. Trapped between the riders, servants of Sovereign, and the scourge, even their luck cannot last forever. Their only hope is to advance their bond by any means necessary. In Feorlen, Talia faces a world unaccepting of a rider queen. Her councilors will not heed her warnings of Sovereign. Foreign powers threaten war and bloodshed. Pleas sent to rider headquarters fall on deaf ears.

I need the next book!
Revisado: 02-19-24
My boyfriend was reading this series and he told me about it. So I decided to give it a try. We both love dragons. I love this story and the performance from the audiobook. My bf has already finished all three books waiting for the next one. I’m about to read the 3rd one. I honestly can’t get enough of this series. I literally can’t wait to see where this next book takes us.

Historia
Authors June Hayward and Athena Liu were supposed to be twin rising stars: same year at Yale, same debut year in publishing. But Athena’s a cross-genre literary darling, and June didn’t even get a paperback release. Nobody wants stories about basic white girls, June thinks. So when June witnesses Athena’s death in a freak accident, she acts on impulse: she steals Athena’s just-finished masterpiece, an experimental novel about the unsung contributions of Chinese laborers to the British and French war efforts during World War I.

Suspense
Revisado: 02-08-24
I love R.F. Kuang’s writing style. I enjoyed the suspense and mystery aspect in this book and how she also brings awareness to Asian culture in literature. I would totally read this again.
