Historia
My name is Mercy Thompson Hauptman, and my mate, Adam, is the werewolf who leads the Columbia Basin Pack, the pack charged with keeping the people who live and work in the Tri-Cities of Washington State safe. It’s a hard job, and it doesn’t leave much room for side quests. Which is why when I needed to travel to Montana to help my brother, I intended to go by myself.

Too much inner monologue
Revisado: 12-31-24
Patricia is one of my favorite authors and this was by far the most boring book that she’s written. Too much inner monologue and bouncing around. Better luck next time

Too much internal dialogue
Revisado: 12-24-24
This book drones on and on, internal dialogue, sex and PTSD. It feels like it is always building to a climax but then rushed through. I wish I had never started this series.

Slow,boring
Revisado: 10-17-24
The storyline is a slow beauty and the beast type story. Absolutely excruciating to get through. Someone please tell me why this series is so popular? The voice performance is so slow and mundane that I wish I had read it myself.

But when his father takes him on a voyage to find a bride and disaster strikes, Tress must stow away on a ship and seek the Sorceress of the deadly Midnight Sea. Amid the spore oceans where pirates abound, can Tress leave her simple life behind and make her own place sailing a sea where a single drop of water can mean instant death?

Worst Sanderson book I’ve ever read.
Revisado: 08-30-24
Didn’t like anything about it. Weird 3rd person narrative. Too many plot twists. Very disappointing. Main climax of the book was a total rush job, spent too much time on the side plots.

Historia
Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal. When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

I loved everything about this novella! I was just too short and I can’t wait until the next installment of the Dresden Files!
