Historia
If the broken neon signs, shuttered storefronts, and sub-standard housing didn’t tip you off, you’ve just wandered into the city of “Undisclosed”. You don’t want to be caught dead here, because odds are you just might find yourself rising from the grave. That hasn’t stopped tourists from visiting to check out the unusual phenomena that hangs around our town like radioactive fallout. Interdimensional parasites feeding on human hosts, paranormal cults worshipping demonic entities, vengeful teenage sorcerers, we’ve got it all.

Greatest book title ever?
Revisado: 02-07-25
The answer is YES. To all of it. I saw this book cover, read the synopsis, saw it was book 4 in a series and was so intrigued by this title I started from the beginning and read "John dies at the end"
I could not be happier with that decision, if you're looking to go down a rabbit hole, go down this one. Just the greatest, funniest, pretty gross at times, amazingly creative, wonderful...
Just read it, read them all! YOU'RE WELCOME!
P.S. Just from writing this I've decided to go back through them all again, I'm excited all over again.

Historia
Dr. Tyson Klein is a quantum physicist who has dedicated his entire life to his research. At CERN, he analyses data generated by the Large Hadron Collider, the world's biggest and most powerful particle accelerator. Now, Ty believes he's found a pattern in its output. It looks like an organised data stream, being broadcast over what he calls a quantum radio. Could it be a signal from another universe? A message sent from the future? Or something else entirely?

If it's your first "Multiverse" Story, it's fine.
Revisado: 12-02-24
There have been lots of these lately, this one is no different. A.G. Riddle is a good storyteller but there's nothing particularly special about this one. Kinda funny... but "infinite worlds" gets old fast.

Historia
Robert Charles Wilson, says The New York Times, "writes superior science fiction thrillers." His Darwinia won Canada's Aurora Award; his most recent novel, The Chronoliths, won the prestigious John W. Campbell Memorial Award. Now he tells a gripping tale of alien contact and human love in a mysterious but hopeful universe.

Solid, Fun, Good Sci-fi
Revisado: 03-14-24
Just well done. Solid story, good writing, good narration. It's not the best book ever written but it's definitely enjoyable, you're invested in the characters, super cool new ideas that are plausible. There's a lot to be said for a story that's just, very good. This is a very good book.

Historia
Candace Chen, a millennial drone self-sequestered in a Manhattan office tower, is devoted to routine. With the recent passing of her Chinese immigrant parents, she’s had her fill of uncertainty. She’s content just to carry on: She goes to work, troubleshoots the teen-targeted Gemstone Bible, watches movies in a Greenpoint basement with her boyfriend. So Candace barely notices when a plague of biblical proportions sweeps New York.

My new favorite book!?
Revisado: 08-20-22
This book is as good as it gets, I don't know what more a person could want, I just keep backspacing what I write because fancy adjectives will only cheapen my true love for this novel, see for yourself. Books don't get any better than this.

Historia
Single father Todd is relaxing at the beach with his son, Anthony, when he catches sight of a man approaching from the water’s edge. As the man draws closer, Todd recognizes him as Jack, who bullied Todd relentlessly in their teenage years but now seems overjoyed to have “run into” his old friend. Jack suggests a meal to catch up. And can he spend the night? What follows is a fast-paced story of obsession and cunning. As Jack invades Todd’s life, pain and intimidation from the past unearth knife-edge suspense in the present.

:::ADMONITION:::
Revisado: 08-20-22
There are just a few truly beautiful works, from film to fine art, that should be heralded and abandoned completely. This is one of those works, I've never been brought so completely into madness and depression. This book scares me, haunts me. This book is beautiful but this review is meant as a warning; be sure you can mentally handle a true dissent.
After this book I'll be looking forward to anything written (or narrated) by Conner Habib, but I'll be researching it carefully before ingesting it.

Historia
Gage Chandler is descended from kings. That’s what his mother always told him. Years later, he is a true crime writer, with one grisly success—and a movie adaptation—to his name, along with a series of subsequent less notable efforts. But now he is being offered the chance for the big break: to move into the house where a pair of briefly notorious murders occurred, apparently the work of disaffected teens during the Satanic Panic of the 1980s.

phenomenal story, and the fact that the author is the one reading it... there are too many different facets that went into this book to write a worthy review, go see for yourself. But I do believe the audio version brings another level to this book.

Historia
Low-level entertainment lawyer Nick Carter thinks it's a prank, not an alien encounter, when a redheaded mullah and a curvaceous nun show up at his office. But Frampton and Carly are highly advanced (if bumbling) extraterrestrials. And boy, do they have news. The entire cosmos, they tell him, has been hopelessly hooked on humanity's music ever since "Year Zero" (1977 to us), when American pop songs first reached alien ears. This addiction has driven a vast intergalactic society to commit the biggest copyright violation since the Big Bang.
