I really enjoyed all the episodes of this series. Sue Perkins is a great narrator, and the content is fun and funny. I just wish they were packaged as chapters of a single book, rather than as individual volumes... would make the full series easier to listen to.

not as good as I'd hoped, but enjoyable enough

As a big fan of the Alien movies, I was excited for this title and wanted to love it, but... I didn't. I found it hard to follow the characters -- keeping track of who's who and how they fit into the plot. -- and I found my attention wandering at times. I thought the story was a bit weak, and I think they made a good choice not to turn the script into a film. That said, I don't regret listening for a couple hours, even if it didn't really grab my interest all that well.

Great story, unfortunate narration

I've always loved this story, and I once had an audio version, but I think it must have been a different narrator, because I am having trouble even listening to this one. He has a weird, weary, breathy delivery with sharp, prominent S's that can be almost painful to the ear at a good listening volume. It could do with some post-production audio tweaking.
