An Enjoyable Performance
Revisado: 01-01-15
I've never read any of these books before so it was fun to read the original story. I was kind of hoping that Anne Hathaway was going to sing Over the Rainbow at the beginning but no such luck.
Anne did an amazing job reading the book. She brought additional life to the story.
Probably what I liked most was Dorothy as the heroine. She makes friends, forms solid friendships, and has genuine concern for those around her and that's how she accomplishes her goal. All in all, a delightful story very well read.

Historia
During his years in a neural-health facility, Pat Peoples has formulated a theory about silver linings. He believes that his life is a movie produced by God, that his mission is to become physically fit and emotionally supportive, and that if he succeeds, his happy ending will be the return of his estranged wife, Nikki. When Pat goes to live with his parents, everything seems changed: no one will talk to him about Nikki, and his new therapist seems to be recommending adultery as a form of therapy.

Couldn't Put it Down
Revisado: 07-24-13
Warning: this book swears A LOT. It's a fascinating story because it is all about mental illness. The characters are quirky but that makes it easier to sympathize with them. I think people who know and love people with mental illness will connect with this book. Did I mention it swears a lot? Well, it does.

Must Read!
Revisado: 06-03-13
Cliche title, I know. But it couldn't be more true. Everyone should read How You Measure Your Life by Clayton Christensen. A fascinating and unique approach to self-help. For extremely logical people, like me, I connected with it on so many levels! And learned something about business theory as well!

I'm a Castle Fan but Didn't Love the Book
Revisado: 02-04-13
Although I am a Castle fan the book was just okay to me. It felt too similar to the show (I guess that's what I should have expected.) But save your money and just purchase another episode of Castle.
