I didn’t think the story was particularly well written. The narration was awful. The main male character sounded like a 12-year-old boy.

I love the audible version of the first book. this version was not good, the performance was bad and the story had no plot. I thoroughly did not enjoy it. The fake giggling was super annoying.

The story was good, but the narrator ruined it a little for me. I think it would’ve been better with a dual narration or dual point of view, but only to hear it from oaks side change the story for me.

Understand there are differences in narration, but for me, the narrator ruined the feeling and expression in this retailing. I am primarily an audio book, chooser, and I understand the impact and narration can have on the story line for me in performance.
