Historia
Set in the mountains of southern Appalachia, Demon Copperhead is the story of a boy born to a teenaged single mother in a single-wide trailer, with no assets beyond his dead father’s good looks and copper-colored hair, a caustic wit, and a fierce talent for survival. Relayed in his own unsparing voice, Demon braves the modern perils of foster care, child labor, derelict schools, athletic success, addiction, disastrous loves, and crushing losses.

So Disappointed...
Revisado: 10-17-18
I've loved a LOT of Jodi Picoult's books. Some I thought were amazing - written well, stories were interesting. This, especially after Small Great Things seemed almost to have been written by a different person. It was almost childlike the way the story was written. I don't know... there was no spark of light in any of it unfortunately. I literally was listening at double the speed just to get through it. Sad :(

Ewwwww
Revisado: 03-31-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I'm not sure... really not my cup of tea. Went nowhere... seriously.
Would you ever listen to anything by Mary Miller again?
Not sure.
Would you be willing to try another one of Andi Arndt’s performances?
No.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Boredom.
Any additional comments?
I hate to bash someone's work and creativity but it was really hard going to get through this.
