Honesty without hatred

The author is very clear on how she perceives things, and what she is convinced is right, but she represents both sides.of the pro-choice and pro-life "fence" with dignity. There is no hateful mud flinging against the evil "others". She shows honest, sincere and caring people on both sides of the issue and explains how she was convinced first of one side and then how her perceptions changed over time and led her to the other side. Through it all runs the common thread of a heart to help women in crisis. At times the book can feel a little repetitive as she described as yet another time of similar emotion, but each serves a purpose.

Of all the methods of learning Hebrew that I have tried (books, apps, etc), I remember the content of the lessons from Pimsleur the most, even months and years later.

In the first 10 lessons, you'll cover the basics: saying hello, asking for or giving information, scheduling a meal or a meeting, asking for or giving basic directions, and much more. You'll be able to handle minimum courtesy requirements, understand much of what you hear, and be understood at a beginning level but with near-native pronunciation skills.

Best Biblical Hebrew Primer

Efficient lessons in an easy to comprehend format; a must have!

These simple and intuitive lessons have helped me immensely in my quest to master Hebrew. I love hearing the native speakers, and modeling my speech patterns after theirs. The 30 reading lessons at the end were a pleasant surprise. I have to pause the reading lesson sometimes to sound out difficult words, but only rarely. The half hour a day approach worked well for my schedule. Often I would do a lesson in the morning, and repeat it in the evening to cement it in my mind before hitting the next segment. Very difficult lessons might take me a couple days, but that happened leess often.
