Leah took us into her heart and life. Her reading this herself was outstanding! To now know all that she went through as a child in the 'church'. Just that part showed me that it was more like a prison than a church. Her questioning her leaders was thet best thing she ever did. She has courage and guts! I'm so grateful for her and her family to be out of that place. I haven't liked Tom Cruise that much. I think he has a Napolian complex, which isn't a good thing. Leah, I hope you live a great life...you deserve it !!!! 💖 and PS...they seem like they want you to tattle on one another all the time...then they punish you only if the people with the most power don't like what is said.. even if it was the truth It! It was like McCarthyism! Yuck !

Mr. O is an excellent teacher and writer. I could relate to the story, only by the stories I had heard while working at Monson Developmental Center in Monson. The state was trying to do better by the individuals with epilepsy and or developmental difficulties. The horror stories surrounded Monson also. I am so thankful that Mr. O met and told the story of Donald Vitkus, we should never forget Donald or the children who had to live in those conditions.
