Every parent of a 10-12 yr old needs to read this book. My 15 yr old daughter has been in counseling for the last year and prior to that for a short time during her 6th grade year. I am dealing with so much of what Dr Chapman writes about in this book. The wisdom contained within in so easy and makes perfect sense that I am not sure why I never realized it. I wish I had read this 5 yrs ago but am so thankful that I have found it now. It is helping me to become a better mom and one who with God’s Grace will help my daughter become a responsible adult!

This book and the information contained within has come to me by recommendation of my daughters new therapist. I wish so badly I had this book 8 years ago when my son was entering middle school! I have been struggling with my now 15 year old daughter for the last 3 years to make sense of her behavior and guide her thru difficulties with little success. This book perfectly describes everything single struggle we have and have had. Thank you for this wonderful breakdown to help me help her! This should be required parent reading in 3rd Grade!!!!
