Historia
Virgin River became a safe haven for Sacramento prosecutor Brie Sheridan after she nearly lost her life at the hands of a violent criminal. Though tough and courageous, she has some fears she can't escape. LAPD officer Mike Valenzuela was badly wounded in the line of duty. When he agrees to become Virgin River's first cop, he does so knowing it's time he settled down. Twice divorced and the lover of too many women, he secretly longs for the kind of commitment and happiness his marine buddies have found - a woman who can tie up his heart forever.

Great story, Spanish needs work!
Revisado: 04-28-25
No one — clearly —coached Therese Plummer in the Spanish words. And it is painful. To a native Speaker, hell, anyone trained in the language, it’s painful to hear. Love the story, love her otherwise but the Spanish needs work!

Historia
Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she’s now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre’s hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin.

Excellent story
Revisado: 10-19-24
The book is long and winding but so worth it to fully dive into the Elerian world. Feyre is a great and strong female lead, she holds her own and is not in need of saving. Bravo!

Historia
Josie Bianci was killed years ago on a train during a terrorist attack. Gone forever. It’s what her sister, Kit, an ER doctor in Santa Cruz, has always believed. Yet all it takes is a few heart-wrenching seconds to upend Kit’s world. Live coverage of a club fire in Auckland has captured the image of a woman stumbling through the smoke and debris. Her resemblance to Josie is unbelievable. And unmistakable. With it comes a flood of emotions - grief, loss, and anger - that Kit finally has a chance to put to rest: by finding the sister who’s been living a lie.

Could it move any slower?
Revisado: 11-28-23
Painfully slow. More than halfway through and the sisters haven’t found each other. I give up! This book needed a really good editor and to quicken the pace. The characters are so poorly developed…not worth another 4-5 hours of my time.
