Historia
It's not just that many pastors feel overwhelmed and stressed out; many have lost their way. With the risk of burnout at an all-time high, what pastors need is not just a new leadership strategy, but a new framework for ministry - one that will help them move from survival to flourishing. In this audiobook, Tom Nelson looks to the biblical image of the shepherd leader in response to the contemporary context. If pastors are to lead congregations, then they must first learn what it means to be led by the Good Shepherd.

Great read!
Revisado: 02-18-22
If you are a Pastor, in church leadership, you need to read this book.
Many of us Christian leaders become lost in the monotony of ministry and forget to "serve before the audience of one" and lose "the lost art of shepherd leadership"
I enjoyed the book, and here are my favorite chapters:
Part 2: Integrity of Heart
4 The integral life
5 Apprenticeship with Jesus
6 Pursuing wholeness
Part 3 Skillful Hands
7 A faithful presence

Historia
In this powerful audiobook, pastor, professor, and leading cultural apologist Voddie Baucham explains the sinister worldview behind the social justice movement and how it has quietly spread like a fault system, not only through our culture, but throughout the evangelical church in America. He also details the devastation it is already wreaking - and what we can do to get back on solid ground before it’s too late.

Painfully made it

I generally listen/read with an open mind, but it was arduous to get thought the first half of the book after hearing his accreditations ad nauseam.

Michael Gregory should have never narrated his book

I enjoyed the book and the context was very informative, however, the narrator could not last 30 seconds without hesitating through words, resulting in annoying lags between thoughts.
VERY DISTRACTING!

Historia
In this irreverent and illuminating audiobook, acclaimed writer and scientist Leonard Mlodinow shows us how randomness, chance, and probability reveal a tremendous amount about our daily lives, and how we misunderstand the significance of everything from a casual conversation to a major financial setback. As a result, successes and failures in life are often attributed to clear and obvious causes, when in actuality they are more profoundly influenced by chance.

I was a bit thrown off when the narrator referred Bertrand Russell's view of "Native realism" instead of the correct term, "Naive realism". To make matters worse it happened in the 1st chapter. Things like this have me on edge for the rest of the audiobook.
It's almost worse than narrators who can't properly pronounce French, Latin or German words and still attempt to narrate books with foreign language references...
