I like Brenda Novak and this could have been really good... but it was like a cheer leader narrating an episode of Dateline with stupid teenagers doing stupid stuff and then being even more stupid about it years later. I made it through, mainly to find out if who I thought was the killer really was. Then it was glossed over so quick it was as if it didn't happen. Whoever came up with the title obviously knew nothing about the story. The library was where a character worked. Had nothing to do with the story. Better titles might have been "Mystery on Mariners Island"..."Three friends and a lie"...""The Light House Mystery"...anything else.

Felt like there were multiple disconnected stories, and I could not follow. Rewinded several times to figure out if I missed something. Finally gave up.

The narration is HORRIBLE! Can not make it past the first chapter. Inconsistent tone and inflections. Strong male leads sound like puny teenage boys trying to talk tough...and failing. Female lead sounds like a shrew. So disappointing.
