A stunning and complex story

I clicked on this audiobook only to discover that I had already purchased it and from the moment I started it I couldn't put it down. I think it's fair to say that this is my new favorite book and I will be thinking about it for so many days to come. I don't think I have ever read a more well-written and well represented account of what it is to be a queer person and the way that the world has to be navigated. a beautiful story all around.

Painful
Revisado: 02-19-17
If you're a LGBT lady, this is not for you. The story had potential but the characters aren't believable and there are a few POV changes with no warning. Everything feels rushed and the main charcters feel flat with no chemistry. I powered through to the end with many complaints from my soul so i could feel justified in giving it a poor rating. I had hopes in the first chapter that were completely dashed by chapter 5. Save yourself the headache ladys.
