A heartwarming yet gripping historical fiction that truly reflects the region and era of the novel. This is one of those stories that begs for more. It would be an exceptional movie!
We listened to the story on Audible during a long road trip and were completely entertained and mesmerized the whole time, it made our stops real short trying to get back to the story.
