Historia
Heidi's story is extraordinary. Imagine being 540 miles from land, with nothing but water in sight, and then experiencing every pilot's worst nightmare - a complete engine failure. Heidi's fixed-gear Cessna bounced off the ocean's surface, flipped onto its back, and began to sink. What followed was a nine-hour ordeal, battling 10-foot seas in a tiny life raft, with the shadow of the Cold War looming as she was finally rescued by a Soviet vessel.

Wonderfully told from beginning to end! Authentic, vulnerable, honest. Really made me feel I was experiencing it as I listened. Remarkable!

It has total practical application. Everything made perfect sense to me. Even though it covers all aspects of life.

Historia
For the first time, Hillary Rodham Clinton reveals what she was thinking and feeling during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history. Now free from the constraints of running, Hillary takes you inside the intense personal experience of becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major party in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, stranger-than-fiction twists, Russian interference, and an opponent who broke all the rules. This is her most personal memoir yet.

I hope everyone that hates Mrs. Clinton would have the courage to listen to or read this book with an open mind.
Revisado: 02-25-18
Before I listened to this book, I admired Mrs. Clinton’s credentials and her career of service to our Country. I voted for her. Now I feel sorrow and longing for a Madam President that should have been. I have profound admiration for her strength of character and her conviction to her principles. Her vulnerability and honesty made me feel as if I was listening to a friend sharing not only her feelings, but also her wisdom. Someday this Country will look back at 2016, and deeply regret... what happened.

Historia
Democracies can die with a coup d'état - or they can die slowly. This happens most deceptively when in piecemeal fashion, with the election of an authoritarian leader, the abuse of governmental power and the complete repression of opposition. All three steps are being taken around the world - not least with the election of Donald Trump - and we must all understand how we can stop them.

Every United States citizen should listen to or read this book.
Revisado: 02-24-18
This book is written in a way that everyone can understand. It is objective and factual. I not only learned a lot about how we got to where we are today, but also gained a heightened sense of value for our democracy and an appreciation for its fragility, that awakened in me a commitment to its protection. I believe I’m experiencing how real patriotism feels like.
