I generally don't take advice from felons, but this is a great book to make an exception for. the general four points are easy to comprehend. I'm looking forward to exploring NLP especially from the Ofactory Anchoring perspective. properly understanding and using the pain and action threshold was very helpful too.

after reading this book I have two distinct goals. The first, to simply listen better. to listen with the intent to understand actually care about what's coming out of the person's mouth in front of me. The second, is to ask better follow-up questions to let the person know I'm listening and to get them to talk some more so I can listen even further.
Other than that, short book, tremendous amount of awesome content and I look forward to reading it several times more.

so many things to build from. all pieces won't be for everyone, but if you can't grow from this book - you're not in the the right business.

I mustarded the courage to provide a full five star review. This rating, in the face of being a true Dr. Sheldon Cooper fan, still recognizes the brilliance of the book and the reading. The difference to the movie, which I consumed first, made for an awesome experience. If it had been the same story - it would not have been as good. The movie glorified teamwork and unity, while the book struck the core of reality and what isolation could be like in this world that fast approaches. Alternative reality may bring comfort to the masses, but never forget two things: reality is the only place you can find a good meal and true love.

it's not like this book offers anything extraordinary or brand new. but the order the composition and the intent to be a real salesman is on point. to paraphrase a little bit I would say being a salesman is good, but being a prepared salesman is great.
