Historia
The worst thing to ever happen on Hemlock Circle occurred in Ethan Marsh’s backyard. One July night, ten-year-old Ethan and his best friend and neighbor, Billy, fell asleep in a tent set up on a manicured lawn in a quiet, quaint New Jersey cul-de-sac. In the morning, Ethan woke up alone. During the night, someone had sliced the tent open with a knife and taken Billy. He was never seen again. Thirty years later, Ethan has reluctantly returned to his childhood home. Plagued by bad dreams and insomnia, he begins to notice strange things happening in the middle of the night.

Listened Straight Through! Great Narrator
Revisado: 02-07-25
The male narrator really brought to life the main character. The thoughts and feelings of the main character were perfect and detailed without being filler.

It Is Hard To Take Seriously- I Love This Author
Revisado: 01-02-25
You find out in the beginning that the main character has delusions…the type of delusions is ridiculous
I love this author and I stuck with the book more than halfway through.
I could not care about it anymore.

Heart Pounding! Steadman Is A Tower of Talent!
Revisado: 12-09-24
Wow! Okay this is a thriller like no other. Exceptional writing and her narration is perfection.
Such a unique book with a protagonist that you will punch the air and cheer for.
There are several characters that you will fall in love with as you are hanging on for dear life with every twist and turn.
Steadman is a stage and screen actress and it shows in her writing. No boring action scenes because she entrances the reader
with her knowledge of how a scene can really play out.
Also the place that she chooses for the book is in real life a very strange place indeed. Google the location and yes this is a place of strange wonderment.
Take a bow and thank you Steadman for an incredible book that I will never forget.

Convoluted And a Bit Confusing
Revisado: 11-25-24
Some of this story is good but the different time periods and with different names for the same characters. A very choppy story line.
The narrator is so talented . Maybe listen to this just for her.

The Perfect Guest Is The Perfect Brilliant Book
Revisado: 11-15-24
Raise your glass to an incredible book with a protagonist that you will never forget. This is no ordinary domestic thriller. It is extraordinary in its' depth and scope of luxury,, wealth and longing to belong. So intelligent and well done.
The narrator brought it to life. The different characters were captured perfectly by Stephanie's voice.
Thank you Ruth Irons for writing such an exciting and compassionate book.

All the ingredient for a great story -except
Revisado: 10-21-24
it is not good... The male performance was good, part of it was great and it moved a long. No one is likable and there is a "dear reader" pompous snarky ending. It rings false and does not have a center to it.
