This story starts with Cake and just keeps getting better. The second book offers a little more information on the kidnapping that changed his brother's and really the whole families life and then Kyle's story as he comes into is own and out of the shadow of his rock star brother.

Great Story - and then some

I loved this book, great story. I really love how the next books give a different point of view. must read. I have listened to this book many times and each time it just gets better and better. I love how he has to work to be happy and really wants to be happy. Life is not a fairy tale and Jake had to overcome so much to get to where he is at, and this is just the start. I have read all her books so far. You will not be disappointed

I enjoyed this book, it was a little hard to get into at first and it was a little confusing but by the end things started to make more sense. I will most likely listen to book 2

I really enjoyed this book, I just wish I had re-listened to Demon Magic and a Martini first because this story is happening at the same time. I can not wait for the next book!!

I laughed out loud

I will not give out an spoilers but I so very want to. It was just laugh out loud funny and I am at times that kind of girl. This is a wonderfully written, funny story, nothing deep but enjoyable.

I like this book but it feels just a tad new author or kinda middle school to me. I little jumpy in places and not smooth changes. I will still most likely read the next one to see what happens,

What a great book

I always enjoy Helena Hunting's book. It has just the right amount of sex, issues and real every day problems. Can not wait until the next book comes out!!

Really enjoyable book

Helena Hunting has a way of just capturing really people in her books. I can/have seen my self act like the people in her books. At least once if not more I find my self breaking out in laughter as I listen. They feel like real people and they have real issues but the book is filled with a light and laughter as well.

I really enjoy these books

When I am having a stressful week at the office, these books are just what I need. Very light hearted, easy listen and enjoyable. This is the kinda book you want just to lift your mood and let you forget about all the stress in your life for a while. It is most likely leaning towards YA but that ok with me, I am an equal opportunity book lover!

I love Mercy Thompson Books

Another win for Patricia Briggs. I really enjoy listening to these books, and the best part I know the back story. I times I think I should listen to the book or two before it so that I can be on the same page because lets face it, there is a lot of back story. Great book, great listen.
