Intensely Riveting

Usually I can determine how a mystery is going to end but not this story. At the end I really became anxious for the victim. Hope others find it as good as I did.

Loved the book series

Everything about this series was absolutely great! What really put this over the top was the narrator. Besides making each character have very distinct voices, she has a wonderful singing voice. She made these books come alive!

Where’s the ending: missing chapter?!

Just as the writer moves the Mai character into a new situation with a very clear “Don’t do it “ sent telepathically by 2 of 4 in a vehicular the story ends. It’s as if the writer or Audible missed the last chapter. I loved the story line just hated incomplete ending. If there is a next in series it is not offered. I would have given 4 stars Overall and Story except for abrupt ending.

I liked al if the story. As a mystery the ending was really a surprise. As I was listening to the story I found it fascinating how the main character did her work and was a great little piece of SciFi. The narrator was defect for the story and did a great job.

Great Potential but lacked believable ending

I loved the story until the end. I really started to dislike the wife who decides to throw away a potential because the husband didn’t tell her about something serious that happened in his youth. She uses that to negate every other thing the husband has done and in doing so deprives her daughter of a father all for some unbelievable reason that it will teach her daughter that truth is absolutely essential regardless if it something done when the person was young. Then immediately even before the divorce papers are finalized she’s already starting to develop a relationship with a man she spurned when she was young.

Loved everything about it

Yes I am from the North but married to a Southern Mountain Man so fir all the negative reviews about the reader and accents, all I can say is they have nit heard them all. The fact is many people mistake my husband who grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia has often been mistaken as a Texan.

As for the story I loved the whole suspense. The idea of the clues kept me guessing and I cannot wait for the sequel to see what the real game was. Loved the whole book

Missing Original Narrator

The story line as usual is great but the narrator doesn’t lend the needed aspects that Therese added through her skills at making the individual characters have very different voices. That skill really makes a difference in an audio presentation.

Very Compelling book

Though I wouldn’t say the story kept me wondering all the way through, I give it five stars because of how well it would s written and the great performance of the reader.
