Historia
The wall just didn’t look right. Alex has been trying to cope. Life after his deployment had been rough. His ex-wife thought he needed to stop disappointing their daughter. She was right. He would try harder. With six hours before his little girl’s fourth birthday party, he saw the anomaly. One wall was too short. Plenty of time to tear out a panel and look behind it. He found a brick wall. His house wasn’t made of brick. Behind that was another just like the first. He still had time. When the second wall came down, Alex stood and stared at the shining doorway.

I would have continued if not for the dead personality of the main character. gets captured does not use his weapons against clearly hostile people, who then block his way to go back home.
the moment he is captured he becomes like a meek lamb with the attitude of a subservient slave. no aggression, he didn't even spit in their face.
he did try to escape once pathetic as it was.
perhaps they are friendly but he does not know that and if it is written that way the, were mc has the author's knowledge then it is simply meh.

Don't know what to think
Revisado: 06-08-21
First of, the title of the book spoils a lot of the beginning. all the "build up" and suffering is uselessly when he is not going to die anyway, and it was disappointing.
The world building is interesting and quite unique, with vague magic, kinda like lotr.
But mc is to way naive for his age, he is able to read people apparently but then gets tricked all the time. as a thief he is supposed be silent but can't keep his mouth shut.
There are a lot of contradictions he wants to help his mother as his main motive, but then he helps those that have betrayed him. especially when his family is safe and his mother getting better and then just throws them in the fire for no real reason.
Would have preferred the executioner as the main character, he is the only one except the mc's sister that have real personalities, thoughts and emotions.

Typical reincarnation copy paste story format
Revisado: 06-01-21
As the title says, a 600 years old dies, gets young again while not retaining his full strength, he has all abilities and memories with him. Becomes a S.... for gods. this in itself does not make sense since they seem to not care what happened and can deal with it effortlessly but send him back anyway risking him becoming more powerful that them...
Becomes the most powerful person in the "area" within one single day, gets magically op items and "convenient" stuff etc.. Immediately, once again withing one day.
The main antagonist are Arrogant masters and incredibly low Iq opponents that somehow do not have common sense show.
There are some contradictions were he does not have the strength of a high level cultivator, but then he has all of a sudden etc..
He is supposed to be keeping a low profile "because of certain reasons", but guess what he does not do...
The novel itself is well written, but the story is way to generic.

Historia
During the day, he’s a South Chicago high school janitor, slopping a mop around from nine o’clock to three o’clock, five days a week. At night, hiding out in a boarded-up factory, he attends to his damaged interstellar spacecraft, making repairs and counting the days until he can return to his homeworld of Calunoth. All he needs to do is mind his own business and avoid any messy human dramas for just a few more weeks. But it is on one of those quiet nights when he hears them outside: the MP140s. Named for a police radio code for murder, they're among the most ruthless killers.

cringe fest
Revisado: 05-28-21
if you are into the whole stupid teen, just because he is in high school and does teen "trope" things. Then this novel is for you.
The other non cringe stuff was quite excellent, and would have traded 2 books for way more of it.

Historia
Jain was the lieutenant commander of an elite SEAL team. He was accustomed to order and discipline, which he used to give the men under his command that particular brand of killer instinct his unit was known for.But one day that semi-comfortable, ordered life ended when he opened his eyes to find his body replaced by a starship. His mind had become its AI core. He is somewhere in deep space. Most of his systems are badly damaged. He has no memory of how he got here, or what his mission is. Evidence points to an attack by an unknown entity.

A cheap copy of bobiverse
Revisado: 05-26-21
As the title says this just feels like a cheap rewrite of bobiverse
some examples:
there are human minds copied into cores implanted into ships to pilot them.
they have vr environment pretty much a carbon type copy of bobiverse with the same flare and type.
the character are way to two dimensional trying to differentiate them so much it just fails.
there are of course some differences, however they are just plain bad.
the mc's name is Jane.. and yea he is a male.
everytime you will hear his name you will cringe.
he named his fleet void warriors and calls them in a "avengers assemble" way, something only a 12 year old mind would come up with.
I would not be surprised if this turns into some sort of ship harem etc..

Historia
As a sci-fi author with a hit TV show, I have a few ideas about what alien invaders are supposed to look like. In my stories, they’re technologically advanced monsters, with tentacles, and no faces. Turns out I was right about the technology. And about how angry they’d be. But the way they look is more terrifying than even I could have imagined. They look exactly like us. Because they are us.

Not a lot of space
Revisado: 05-25-21
Well it was and ok novel but it feels way to much of a self insert to be fully enjoyable. the author doesn't not which direction to go sometimes.
it is written from first person perspective, but changes to third person perspective a lot.
The mc is a retired soldier but there are way to many times when he is acting like a normal civilian that it just simply breaks that character.
The mc is old and blushes which is a big minus for me personally.
There isn't a lot of space battles perhaps a full 1 hour but the rest are well.. inner dialogue, about 60% is him thinking useless thoughts in battles or outside and it completely takes away the vibe from the novel.
the last 4hours can be skipped pretty much since it is filled with flashbacks.
overall a semi solid novel that needs some editing or rewriting.

a mediocre percy Jackson litrpg
Revisado: 03-10-21
the title says it all. we follow a demigod who has more plot armour than your average hero, everytime he is about to die somehow he gets saved at the right time, it's to obvious.
The story is told from a storyteller perspective however it keeps changing to first and then only switching back to pretty much spoil everything that is about to happen.
The narration is meh at best, the moment he switches voices to imitate the writing of a character such as an evil monster, you'll literally can't understand half of what they are saying.
But I can say that the main character personality is not one of those sappy, blushing, stuttering fools.
the world building itself is superb.

Historia
A college party lands freshman Hal Christianson in an America that could have been: no smartphones, no cars, no flush toilets. What he finds is a squabbling bunch of states, the consequence of the colonies having grown up on their own after European civilization collapsed from plague in the 1670s, and they are poised on the brink of war. For a socially awkward young man who takes refuge in online games, this is a bad situation.

For teens
Revisado: 01-11-21
It is well written and has a interesting premise.
he gets transported to an alternate universe that is more inline to the independence era. while the year being about the same as his old world.
However there are things that just make one cringe, the main character is, well is quite pathetic.
he blushes a lot, falls in love in seconds while acting like somebody who has never seen an average looking girl or pr0n, while running behind the with the "my queen" attitude.
I don't know why some authors have these "hard" on for writing these main character, but it would have been 10 times better a book if the personality of the main character would atleast be normal and not so artificially bad.

Historia
After a brush with death that almost cost me everything, I managed to expose Izguril's machinations and imprison the usurper god within me. Now, with no more immediate threats to my survival, I wish that I could take some time to rest, but I can't. Because if the goblin village that has taken up residence within me is thriving, and more adventurers come every day to test their mettle against my traps and monsters, something is nagging at the back of my mind. A dark vision, that was confirmed by none other than the Mistmother - the goddess of foresight.

well written, however it is to predictable, every bit of the story goes in a straight line, act then react, act then react, on and on. and it makes it feel a bit cheap.
