Historia
We hear stories all the time about the supernatural—miraculous healings, unexplained sightings, near-death experiences—but how do we know what is real? Are rumors of spiritual beings, healings, and prophetic dreams dangerous deceptions, or is there something important for us to explore? Join investigative journalist and former atheist Lee Strobel as he examines the evidence and considers how we should think about the unseen world—and the God who made and rules over it.

Lee Strobel Does It Again
Revisado: 04-21-25
I’ve read all of Strobel’s books and got this one the day it was released. It did not disappoint. In my opinion, this book is most closely related to one of his previous books called “Case for Miracles.” However, this focuses more on paranormal ideas and what the Bible says about it. If you like Strobel, this is a solid read.

Historia
Freshly inspired from the life-altering insights he gleaned from his best-selling Messiah project, Jerry D. Thomas returns to the story of Jesus and allows us to listen in on real conversations the Son of God had with ordinary people. People who struggled with the same issues we struggle with today. The conversations prove that God is listening. That He cares. That we matter. And that just as surely as Jesus spoke to Peter, or Martha, or a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher, He will speak to you.

Moments That Mean Something
Revisado: 03-17-25
After listening to “Conversations With Jesus,” I was struck by the way that he painted the picture of a scene. He is sure to bring in all perspectives of an event when people are hearing Jesus. It reminds me of looking at a picture through a jewel. You might see something in a slightly different way. While I’d heard of each of these stories, I could appreciate them in a new light and this book struck my interest in other books of his including “Messiah.” For those looking to view stories they know in a new light, this is a great find.

Historia
To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable. 6Norman Geisler and Frank Turek argue, however, that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. With conviction and clear thinking, Geisler and Turek guide listeners through some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of a creator God.

One of the Greatest Christian Books I’ve Ever Read
Revisado: 10-09-24
No other book has opened my mind, heart, and soul in such a way. This book is a masterpiece drawing upon science, logic and eventually scripture. If you’re considering it, stop considering and just get it. And be sure to read the whole thing because every premise builds on the premise before it. The whole picture or “box top” is brought together at the end. Don’t do yourself a disservice by only getting through a portion of it. Instead, appreciate each chapter and trust that the writers know what they’re doing. Because they do. I pray the anyone who reads this would read this post would read this book and watch as God works in their life. For others like it, I’d recommend The Case for Christ or Mere Christianity. But while I read those first, this one was the absolute best to me. I bought a physical copy because an audiobook wasn’t enough. Just read it! God bless!

What the Films Should Have Been
Revisado: 01-11-23
Truly an essential read if you’re a Star Wars fan and wanted more from the sequel trilogy. Adam Christopher does an excellent job of weaving the many plot holes left from the sequel trilogy into a compelling story. Audio production and narrator, William DeMerritt, were superb! Highly recommend!

Incredible Performance for an Incredible Story
Revisado: 10-11-22
I haven’t seen this kind of wonder and magic since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. I loved the story and Jim Dale is truly the best of the best. He takes it to another level just like he did with the Harry Potter audiobooks. Peter Pan has always been a story close to my heart and this tale masterfully introduces all of the different aspects of the story in natural ways. It has just the right balance of magic, reality, humor, and heart. Definitely recommend!
