I think the personal part of Stacey’s and Claudia’s friendship is…problematic. I feel like it is teaching kids to discuss hardships, especially personal ones, overly. She literally shared it on a kids only radio with at least 1000 people listening. Not the best vibe to give out to 7-8 yr olds, to talk about sensitive matters with everyone out of a grudge.

A perfect and spunky addition to any and all Percy Jackson books! This is an amazing retelling, but we have to remember that not alll story’s have happy endings, and these books are retelling of sexual and physical abuse, so this is definitely for the older kids who understand the reality of Greek and Roman mythology, and how back then it was okay to assault women, but it is now unexceptionable to do.

This Is a great book, just Isn’t the best example for young children.

As people, our job is to be a good example for younger children, and in this case, Stacy isn’t the best at playing that role . Nothing wrong with the book, and it was well written, just doesn’t have a very good moral. 4/5 stars. ( didn’t like the narrator ).

This is a great book and it teaches you a bit of ASL along the way! Do recommend, and Katy Beth’s sisters story really pulls at the heart strings!🫶🏼

This is a horrific book.

I have autism, and this is very far from the truth. Most autistic people, for one thing, aren’t this underdeveloped. This is the worst possible case of autism a person can have, and is very rare. Another thing is that most autistic people have very prominent personalities, and would have connections to certain objects, meaning they would most likely have a very personified room , not a room reminiscent of a hotel. An lastly, sending autistic children off to boarding school is a horrible choice of education, and a lot of the students are beat and abused for not being able to follow the curriculum, even in handicapped schools. This book is unrealistic, not well thought through, and offensive. I hope this book is banned. The author does such good work on her other books, so I am extremely disappointed. Overall, this is the worst book in the babysitters club series.

Loved it, but I wish there was a bit more of a setting in the beginning of the book. It didn’t have to be in gavaldon , like the first two books, but instead, ⚠️spoiler: could have been more detailed, like the fourth book, which I found extremely funny and entertaining as it offers over an hour of a funny setting for both Sophie and Agatha, though they were in different parts of the Woods, the author makes a hilarious and easy to listen to setting for each character over an hour long. Now that shows amazing quality and is much more fun than another beginning setting in gavaldon and the school masters tower. I can understand why the author began the book in these places, but I wish Soman Chanani put more detail into them.

Great book, but I wish this was made into a movie. I think that would be very entertaining, considering the props of the second to last book, and I would love to see the cgi of the portal potions “ Lobby” as Conner puts it . Overall, great book!

My family lives a few streets away from Beverly clearly school, and the way the author described the nearby districts ,neighborhood, and Portland in general is very accurate. Being from the rose city myself, I can confirm her statements about our city.
