Great, sage advice from a great communicator

I thoroughly enjoyed Jen’s book, her voice is calming, authoritative, and knowledgeable. I appreciated the vulnerability she exhibited, the great advice, even though I am more than 20 years, her senior. The reviews that talk about her book being full of lies have obviously not read this book or listen to it because there’s just no room in it for lies. I highly recommend this book and will be giving it to my daughter for a graduation.

A true leader

I love listening to this guy tell the story of what happened. I believe him and I trust him. This book is a must "read" for anyone who wants to really know what happened in the DJT debacle era.

Like a friend who is always there

It's strange to say, but this book and Dana's other titles are like friends who are right there when I'm feeling weak or vulnerable. There are moments where I feel like I have overreacted or made a mountain out of a molehill and I start tumbling backward. I run, no walk to my audible files and flip on this audiobook. It has been indispensable in these early days having figured out what I was dealing with. Some of her stories are word for word the things I have heard for a long time. I have probably listened to three of her books half a dozen times or more. I highly recommend that if you think you are being abused by a narcissist you buy these books and keep them handy as you free yourself and arm yourself with tools and knowledge. There is quite a bit of repetition in these books, but I have found that to be a catalyst to engraining the learning. Thank you, Dana. Your books are literally saving my life.

Remarkable Resilience

First of all, I love this narrator - she is spectacular. I had trouble separating her from the book - she becomes the person she is reading and I will listen to anything she narrates. Thank you Ms. Whelan, for bringing this book to life during my drive.

Second, what an unbelievable story. It's truly amazing how someone so repressed can happen into situations that help her to the next rung.

Well done. Very good audiobook.

Fantastic - and I'm not even a golfer

Reilly's amazing passion for the game, and his defense of it comes through in such vivid and extraordinary detail. Thank you for sharing your unique view of this phony person who occupies the highest office in the land. I can't bear to call him our president. This book was fascinating. Thank you. And thank you for your passion for truth.

I have only golfed a few times in life, but you do not need to be a golfer to appreciate this book.

There are much sweeter ways to exact revenge

I loved the writing, the imagery, the plight of the little girl. Some of the turns of phrase were spectacular and memorable beyond any writing I have read for years.

My only disappointment was the end - I just thought it was the easy way out (of the story). I'll leave it at that.

I love Lily

I miss Lily too. The antics of Lily and her owner were adorable. The book went a little wacky at one point, for about a chapter... but it came back to where it all made sense. I could not write the review for two months. I have a little doxie and I was so sad I couldn't bring myself to critique. I loved the narration too. For pet lovers, yes. And no. And yes. Oh, who am I kidding. If you are a person who has ever had a pet you loved more than anything, you should listen to this book.

Poignant, heartbreaking

The heart plays evil games with our heads sometimes... this story left me sitting in a parking lot weeping for about an hour. Lovely writing, woven around hearts, lives, and better judgment. Love this author's work. Fan. I also really loved the narrator here. Recommended.
