I bought and am using this program in conjunction with Power Spanish I Accelerated.
I had a year of Spanish back in school and this approach is totally different, thank God.
They don't really formally teach verbs, although I did notice the instructor shooting back and forth between traditional and non-traditional approaches for different learning styles (which I think is good).
I'm not big on grammar. As a matter of fact, I hate English grammar with a passion.
What I am loving about Power Spanish Verbs 1 is how naturally you learn as you progress through the program. It's so smooth, you hardly notice you're learning so much until you meet up with a native Spanish speaker and realized that you can actually "use" what you're learning.
Unbelievably good program at any price, and for this price, it's a no-brainer to buy this one and use it right away if you're serious about learning Spanish.

I have tried Learn in Your Car Spanish, Pimsleur Spanish, Rosetta Stone, Berlitz, Rick Steves and I am amazed that none of these programs comes close to what I have learned from Power Spanish 1 Accelerated in the first lesson alone.
I'm no language expert. I'm just a guy who's trying to learn Spanish for work, family, and travel.
No course has ever gotten me speaking so well so soon, and having so much fun doing it.
The technique is brilliant. The instructor, Mark, acts as a language teacher/coach who guides a group of native Spanish speakers into teaching you how to speak Spanish.
The reason it's working so well with me is because I'm enjoying the program so much that I can't put it down. It's a blast.
Second, they make it like an educated game to remember stuff you learned. They always go back and ask you "Did you get that?". Then you think to yourself "Oh shoot (or another word) and then you try to remember, and then you finally do get it.
I'm telling you guys out there that this program stands heads and tails above, and I mean "way above" anything out there.
It should cost $250.00 or more, but it's only $19.00.
I use it on my IPhone and take it everywhere with me. And I am "hablando espanol".
