So annoying like a cheap infomercial

I can’t even get a refund or I would have done it after 10 mins. The author is so annoying, he continuously glorifies himself. He talks like he drank 3 Red Bulls. He makes this book sound like a cheap infomercial so much so that I literally feel like I got ripped off for my $9!

A little removed from reality

Over all the book is a good read. The author does a good job of presenting the economy from a different perspective. The focus on opportunity as the lens is great. The author diverges a little too much for my taste. He goes into a lot of left leaning progressive theories that are far removed from reality. It’s his writing so it’s no problem, my only issue is that he declares them matter of fact. Like when he says Donald Trump won the presidential election due to the extreme right using the current economic crises. Also when presenting a case for the lower income he presents all lower income people as not having opportunity. Nor does he take into consideration that some people are just lazy. As a Latino who comes from extreme poverty I can tell you hard working people can get a head in this country. The author presents the agenda that everyone is held down by corporations and ultra rich.

Estuviera estupendo pero…

La historia de Ellon es increíble. El libro está bien escrito. Lo único que es un poco difícil es escuchar al narrador. El español que habla es de España y no latino sus palabras usan el ZH mucho. Y es un poco irritante cuando lo escuchas por horas oyendo la historia. También casi cada palabra cuando termina su oración la dice de esta maaanneeerraaa. Un poco irritante pero buen libro. Aviso: español no es mi idioma primario para alguien más estas cosas quizás no lo molestan.

Mucha mentira o imaginación

Muchas de las cosas que dice se an probado que son falsas. Por ejemplo mucho lo del. Chapó. Al escribir estos chapo esta en los Estados Unidos en Florence Superman una de las peores prisiones. Si mitad de lo que ella dice del Chapo es verdad no fuera lógico que viera hablado y dado los nombres de sus apoyados mejor que estar en Florence Supermax? Hay mucho más que no es verdad de lo que se dice en este libro.

Nothing to see here folks

The book and of itself is a good listen and we’ll written. If you’re a Roman historical fan you’ll enjoy it just because it adds another layer of Roman history. However the life of Cicero was not very exciting the man didn’t achieve much other than climbing the political ladder and writing some works. I wonder if he’d have been famous if not for being prominent in the senate during Ceasers assassination. Ironically the man he hated is probably the only reason anyone even cares about him.
