Author Sandra A. Miller has created a cast of characters who portray the drama which can arise and the despair that can happen when we suppress our darkest fears. The story draws the reader in and rewards with inspiration to live life passionately and move boldly forward with an open heart. Narrator Steven Jay Cohen maintains a consistent, calm and intriguing voice while channeling the characters’ emotions just enough to create a textured dynamic. The narrative of “Wednesday at One” is intricately constructed and so compelling that I listened to the whole book in one sitting. A wonderful audiobook!
